I totally forgot about going to a new restuarant (if that is what you want to call it) today. Sushi Ya and Grill was the name. First I didn't have a clue what to order. 2nd I didn't have a clue what I was looking at on the menu. A few things I recognized out of the 5 page menu were:
Kids
Lunch
Tea
Soda
Chicken
Shrimp
Steak
DH ended up with some kind of sushi plate. It had this tiny pile of green gunk that looked like playdoh. He actually tried it and started gagging. He wasn't sure if it was suppost to be hot or just sting like a scorpion. One thing he was sure of is that it was NASTY!
I ended up getting Chicken and Shrimp Hibachi. Didn't have a clue what that was. They could have brought me a chicken with shrimp riding it's back for all I knew. They first brought me a boil of what looked like water with mushrooms floating in it. It wasn't good. Then a salad with some kind of dressing that looked ruined. I then ended up with a plate of basically stir fry chicken, shrimp, veggies and a huge pile of rice. Meh it wasn't good but it wasn't just terrible either.
It cost us $40.00 to get out of that place without having to wash dishes. $40 for mess. Lesson learned never return.
